TERMS OF SERVICE POLICY (One-ON-One)- rev2023-03a
- KamenRider School is a private owned business and is licensed by ICBC. Unless specified, the term “company”, “we” or "us" in this article is referring to KamenRider School. We reserve the right to change/update/revise this policy without any prior notice.
- This Terms of Service Policy (One-on-One) constitutes a contract between KamenRider School and you (the student). This Policy includes the provisions set forth in this article and in the KamenRider Privacy Policy, Commercial Terms and other terms or conditions that may be presented by us and accepted by you from time to time (All of which we collectively refer to as the “Terms of Service” or “Terms” or "Policy").
- We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it through our compliance with the Privacy and Security Policy.
- If you do register, you shall be deemed to confirm your acceptance of the Terms and your agreement to be a party to this binding contract.
- You must agree and sign this Term of Service Policy and the Release of Liability and Waiver of Claim before any training starts. If you’re under age of 19, a parent or legal guardian must agree and sign as well. You (or parent/legal guardian if under age of 19) must agree to take all legal responsibilities for all costs (including parts and labors) of any damage to the school’s motorcycle and equipment that is caused by the you.
- You must obtain a valid class 6 or class 8 learner license from ICBC before any training starts.
- Disclosure must be made to a KamenRider School's Instructor of any medical condition(s), use of drug(s) or medication(s) that may affect the use of a motor vehicle as set by the Standards of the Motor Vehicle Act. Fail to do so may result in cancellation or termination your session without refund.
- Our basic training rate is Ninety dollars ($90.00) per hour at a minimum of two hours per session. Actual motorcycle operating time is forty-five (45) minutes long for each hour. Training Packages are available and only valid for six months from the date of registration.
- Using our school motorcycle for MST or road test costs one session credit from the package, or at a special rate of One hundred sixty (160) dollars per session. This special rate must be paid by cash or e-transfer. This special rate is only available for student who already registered with us. All ICBC’s test fee and license fee are responsible by the student.
- Our training schedule is based on actual availability and there is no guarantee for certain date and time.
- Travelling time charge ($90.00 per hour) will be applied on top of package if requested to have training outside of Richmond.
- One hundred dollars ($100.00) tuition fees deposit is required at registration. The balance of the tuition fees must be fully paid before or on the first lesson, either in-class or by appointment. All fees and deposit paid (except Security Deposit) are non-refundable and non-transferable.
- We will supply with the use of a street legal motorcycle and a reflective safety vest. Professional protective riding gears are inessential but highly recommended.
- An amount of One thousand dollars ($1000.00) security deposit will be held on your credit card. Your credit card will not be charged unless any damage caused. If using cash for the security deposit, will be fully refunded after the training package has completed.
- Forty-eight (48) hours prior notice is required for rescheduling. No show, cancellation or rescheduling within forty-eight (48) hours will not be accepted for any reasons. We reserve the right to charge additional one hundred dollars ($100.00) administration fee if no show or cancellation without prior notice.
- Any irresponsible behavior on the school’s motorcycle that might or does result in any type of accident will result in immediate termination of the session without refund or rescheduling. KamenRider Motorcycle School reserves the right to refuse or cancel any training session or test session without refund or rescheduling if there is a safety concern.
- ICBC will have the rights to access all the student's records.
